About the Honorees
Dr. Cecile Rose and Dr. Richard Meehan are Director and Co-Director of the Center of Excellence for Deployment-Related Lung Disease at National Jewish Health in Denver, Colorado. Working collaboratively with a growing network of researchers from multiple institutions, including officials from DoD and VA, Dr. Rose and Dr. Meehan have spearheaded innovative research and treatment initiatives to help Veterans and Service members with complicated, disabling, and yet difficult-to-diagnose post-deployment lung disease.
